Reviews about Victoria Square Shopping Centre

A new section opened with fun games for the young and the young at heart! There is a virtual shooting range, a remote control car race, and a place full of fun games for kids and for scheduled birthday parties. There is a selection of adult games like karaoke booths, virtual flight simulation, a player piano, a chance to ride a mechanical bull and land on a soft surface, and more! Prices vary and are included with my new original photos. This wheelchair friendly, spacious mall has accessible doors and an accessible public washroom. You can visit an optometrist, dentist, medical doctor, have your hearing checked, then get a manicure/pedicure and get a hair cut all under the same roof. Victoria Square Mall is larger than it appears at 1st glance, including clothing stores, Shoppers Drug Mart, a large Safeway and more. There is also a spacious gym offering popula programs like yoga class. Inside some stores, the aisles are too narrow for a power wheelchair. The mall itself is airy and clean. I thought the public washroom was fairly well equipped with one extra large stall and handle bars. I have never seen more than one wheelchair accessible stall in any public bathroom. In this one, my only complaint is that the entire bathroom could use a thorough cleaning, as of November/17. The food court is disappointing with too few choices for a mall of this size. There is a restaurant for a more formal meal. There are other places to get a quick bite to eat, like the Tim Horton's within Safeway. One interesting feature is a booth where parents can rent an "animal" bike for toddlers to roll around. The animals look like giant plush stuffed toys. The rental fee is not cheap at 50 cents per minute. However, riding a big stuffed dog might be a welcome treat for a toddler bored with shopping. Lots of parking is available outside.
